Today we get to know Teksal Safety’s operations manager, Emmerson Cust.
Originally joining Teksal Safety as our internal sales coordinator just over two years ago, Emmerson has diversified his role and become more involved in the company’s overall structure and processes.
Working closely with the internal sales team and warehouse team, Emmerson saw opportunities to improve processes and workflow, from internal and external processes to physically restructuring the warehouse!
By implementing these processes now, he’s helping the company get ready for its next stage of growth.
As the company has grown, he’s also become more supplier-focused, particularly because of his social nature and love of in-person interactions.
Speaking of being people-oriented, he also initiated the social club – a good excuse for team building events and post-Friday drinks and laughs.
Having diverse experience, including multinational wholesaler roles, Emmerson has enjoyed the challenges and rewards of adapting to the new environment of a privately owned and operated business and considers his biggest achievements his personal and professional growth.
