Teksal Safety is pleased to announce its appointment as the WA / NT distributor for Elfab.
As a global manufacturer of rupture discs, explosion vents and associated detection systems, Elfab’s intelligent pressure relief systems protect people, plant, processes and the environment across the globe.
Teksal Safety will supply a wide range of high-performance rupture / bursting discs for diverse applications in the oil & gas, mining and industrial sectors.
What is a rupture / bursting disc?
A rupture / bursting disc is a non-re-closing vent designed to open when exposed to a set pressure differential. The pressure relief device protects processes or equipment from vacuum or over-pressurisation.
Rupture discs can be manufactured from standard materials, including stainless steel, Hastelloy and nickel, as well as non-standard materials such as tantalum, monel and Inconel.
Diverse applications
Rupture discs are widely used in the pharmaceutical, pressure safety, chemical processing, oil and gas, and food and beverage industries, along with original equipment manufacturing (OEM).
They can be used for flare stacks, compressor units, sulphur units, primary treatment units and heat exchangers, explosion vents, transportation railcar discs and vessel overpressure protection.
Whether you require a standard rupture disc, a complex one-off unit or a high-volume, price-sensitive OEM unit, we work with you to provide the most effective solution.
